Class #100A: 1911 Safety, Disassembly, Maintenance, Lubrication, and Reassembly School
(4 hr. Hands-On)

This block of instruction may be taken separately from the Class #100B, 1911 Malfunction Correction School. This school requires that you purchase a small tool kit that will allow you to completely disassemble and reassemble your 1911 pistol. Many of you may already have tools to accomplish this but I must have everyone using the same tools to save time.

You must also purchase and study the Kuhnhausen Volume I 1911 manual before the class. If you already have the manual you do not have to purchase another. Please make sure that you have thoroughly studied the Kuhnhausen book and become familiar with the internal parts of the 1911 and how to disassemble and reassemble your 1911. By coming to class with this knowledge you will allow me to spend much more time giving you detailed instruction on the finer points of caring for your 1911.

You may enroll my calling the office at 800-448-1713

Tool Kit for Class #100A (Your tools will be issued to you at the class)  $41.00
Kuhnhausen 1911 Manual Vol. I $27.95
Tuition for Class #100A $150.00
Shipping $14.00

You are required to bring your own 1911 pistol to both of the schools. I would prefer that the pistol be a standard government model 45 ACP but that is not required. If you are just getting into the 1911 pistol and want to purchase an excellent basic entry level 1911 I highly recommend that you purchase a Springfield 45 ACP GI Milspec Parkerized 1911A1 pistol stock #PW9108LP. This is the same pistol that I use in my 1911 Custom Pistolsmithing School. You may use this pistol if you decide to take my 1911 Custom Pistolsmithing School if you have made no modifications of any kind to it before you take the school. If you need a recommendation of a good gun shop in San Diego to purchase one of these pistols from give me a call.

Be sure to bring something to take copious notes on. I guarantee that you will not be able to remember all of the information that will be given to you! This is also in excellent preliminary class to take if you are interested in attending my 1911 Custom Pistolsmithing School or have already enrolled in the school taught next week and just want to get a good start and brush up on your basic knowledge of the 1911 pistol.

Thank you for enrolling in my schools and I look forward to meeting you and helping you gain more knowledge of the most popular pistol in the world, John Browning's 1911.

Purpose
