Class
#100B 1911 Malfunction and Correction (4hr.
Lecture and Example)
This
block of instruction may be taken separately from
the Class #100A.
This school does not require that you
purchase the tool kit.
However, I do recommend that you purchase
the tool kit so that you may be able to
disassemble your 1911 should you have specific
questions about your 1911 in class.
You must thoroughly study the Kuhnhausen
1911 Manual Vol. I before you attend class.
You do not have to purchase another if you
already have one.
You
are required to bring your own 1911 pistol to both
of the schools.
I would prefer that the pistol be a
standard government model 45 ACP but that is not
required. If
you are just getting into the 1911 pistol and want
to purchase an excellent basic entry level 1911 I
highly recommend that you purchase a Springfield
45 ACP GI Milspec Parkerized 1911A1 pistol stock
#PW9108LP. This
is the same pistol that I use in my 1911 Custom
Pistolsmithing School.
You may use this pistol if you decide to
take my 1911 Custom Pistolsmithing School if you
have made no modifications of any kind to it
before you take the school.
If you need a recommendation of a good gun
shop in San Diego to purchase one of these pistols
from give me a call.
Be sure to
bring something to take copious notes on.
I guarantee that you will not be able to
remember all of the information that will be given
to you! This
is also in excellent preliminary class to take if
you are interested in attending my 1911 Custom
Pistolsmithing School or have already enrolled in
the school taught next week and just want to get a
good start and brush up on your basic knowledge of
the 1911 pistol.
Thank you for
enrolling in my schools and I look forward to
meeting you and helping you gain more knowledge of
the most popular pistol in the world, John
Browning’s 1911.
